September 14, 2021 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

?-STEM helps bridge the gap between your field of study and your career path. We hope to support you through this journey, build community, and get you connected to opportunities and more!

This initiative is housed within the new Office of Equity, Belonging, and Student Engagement within the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences in Votey 365 B/C. We also have a dedicate space in Discovery in the STEM complex (The Rosowsky Room; W203A), where all BIPOC STEM students on campus will receive one-on-one support from a newly hired Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA).You just use your CatCard to access the space! Maria Del Sol Nava was a Math major for her undergraduate studies and understands the importance of mentoring and building community within underrepresented students in STEM. She will spend approximately 10 office hours in W203A to mentor and guide all of you. If you’d like to make an appointment to meet with Maria, please email mnava@uvm.edu

You’re all invited to UVMs Inaugural ?-STEM BIPOC Excellence Community Networking Day on September 14th @4:30pm in the Grand Maple Ballroom.
